Subscription terms and refund policy
These terms apply when you buy a Curibo Premium subscription. They cover what you get, what it costs, how renewal works, how to cancel, and how to get your money back. Everything else about Curibo is covered by our privacy and cookie policies.

The short version
The rest of this page is the binding detail, but nothing in it should surprise you after reading this.
- Your first 7 days are free. Cancel before they end and you are never charged.
- After the trial the subscription renews automatically until you cancel. While a launch discount applies your price is lower; when it ends, renewals are at the full price above.
- You can cancel at any time in two clicks. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- You have 14 days to change your mind about a payment and get it back, minus what you have already used.
Who you are contracting with
Curibo is operated and sold by:
Where VAT applies it is shown separately before you confirm your order.
What Curibo Premium includes
A Premium subscription unlocks the full Curibo catalogue for every child profile on your account: all games, all daily activities and all social stories, in the Curibo app and on the web. The free plan remains available and keeps working — losing Premium never removes your account, your child profiles or their recorded progress.
The catalogue grows and changes over time. We may add, alter or retire individual activities, but we will not reduce the subscription to something materially less than what you signed up for without telling you first.
Price and billing
The price that applies is the one shown to you on the checkout page before you confirm, together with any VAT. The current prices are:
A launch offer of 70% off currently applies to new subscriptions. The discount runs for the first 12 months from the day you subscribe; after that the subscription renews at the full price shown above. The discounted amount and the date it ends are shown at checkout before you confirm.
Payment is taken by card through Stripe at the start of each billing period. We never see or store your full card number.
Prices are shown including VAT where it applies. VAT is charged at the rate of the country you are in, and is calculated and displayed before you confirm your order.
Free trial
New subscribers get 7 days free. We ask for a card when you start the trial, but nothing is charged during it. If you cancel before the trial ends you pay nothing at all.
When the trial ends, the first payment is taken automatically and the subscription continues at the price you were shown. Stripe emails you a receipt for every payment.
The trial is available once per account.
Automatic renewal
The subscription renews by itself so that access never lapses. A monthly plan renews every month and a yearly plan every year, on the same date, at the same price, until you cancel it. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee.
If we change the price of a subscription you already hold, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, so you can cancel first if you would rather not continue. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for.
Cancelling
You can cancel whenever you like, from the subscription page in your account. It takes two clicks and needs no email, no phone call and no explanation.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end your subscription immediately: you keep full Premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for, and your account then returns to the free plan. You can resume before that date if you change your mind.
We may suspend or end a subscription if a payment cannot be collected, or if an account is used in a way that breaks these terms or the law. Except in cases of serious misuse we will contact you first and give you a chance to put it right.
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you have 14 days to withdraw from the subscription contract, without giving any reason. The period runs for 14 days from the day the contract is concluded — that is, the day you subscribe.
Curibo Premium is a digital service that starts working the moment you subscribe. By subscribing you ask us to begin straight away and you accept that, once the service has been fully supplied, the right of withdrawal no longer applies. If you withdraw part-way through a period, we may keep an amount proportionate to the time you had access before you told us.
To withdraw, tell us in a clear statement — an email to the address above is enough. You can use the wording below, but you do not have to.
Model withdrawal statement
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for a Curibo Premium subscription. Ordered on: [date]. Name: [your name]. Email address on the account: [your email]. Date: [today's date].
We refund you within 14 days of receiving your notice, using the same payment method you paid with. There is no fee for this.
Refunds
Outside the 14-day withdrawal period, a subscription that renews is not automatically refundable — cancelling stops the next payment rather than reversing the last one. That said, we would rather have a fair outcome than a technically correct one, so we will refund in these cases:
- A payment you did not intend, taken shortly after a renewal you did not notice, where the subscription has barely been used since.
- A period during which Curibo Premium was substantially unusable because of a fault on our side.
- A duplicate or clearly mistaken charge.
Ask us by email and tell us which payment you mean. We aim to answer within a few working days, and any refund goes back to the card that paid.
None of this limits your statutory rights. If the service is not as described or does not work as it should, you are entitled to have it put right, and to a price reduction or a refund if we cannot.
Your account
A subscription covers one household: your parent account and the child profiles on it. Please keep your login details to yourself — you are responsible for what happens under your account. Curibo is intended to be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian; the children's areas are designed for children, but the account is yours.
Availability
We work to keep Curibo available and safe, but no online service is available every second. Planned maintenance, an upstream outage or a fault can interrupt it. If an interruption is long enough to matter, tell us and we will make it right — see Refunds above.
Complaints and disputes
If something has gone wrong, please write to us first — most things are quicker to fix directly than through anyone else. We answer complaints in Lithuanian or English.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you can take the matter to the State Consumer Rights Protection Authority (Valstybinė vartotojų teisių apsaugos tarnyba), Vilniaus g. 25, LT-01402 Vilnius, www.vvtat.lt. Using it is free and it does not affect your right to go to court.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Lithuanian law. As a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms — to reflect a change in the service, or in the law. If a change affects a subscription you already hold, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies, and you can cancel before it does. The version on this page is always the current one, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy and our cookie policy.
